FLEECE STORAGE

If fleece is being stored, preventative measures must be taken to avoid moths (we do not recommend mothballs).

Dried lavender, unchewed tobacco and cedar chips work well made into sachets and will deter moths, but none of them are guaranteed to prevent infestation. It is best to check stored fleece often. Moths prefer darkness, so store fleece in a dry room with lots of light. If you will be shipping fleeces from prior years clip, it would be advisable to re-skirt each bag to make certain it is clean of any infestation!
